Bob Seger's "Live Bullet" 1976, double-live album was recorded at various venues, and reflects his unique blend of rock and soul. This album contains some of my favorite songs, "Katmandu" + "Travelling Man", which I haven't heard in decades and still move me (literally), and remind me to get busy on my travel bucket list! 🎤🎸

So many creative songs on this 1968 double album... I've never listened to the entire album until today. So many classic songs, including "Blackbird", and "I Will" showing a diverse range of musical styles, from rock and folk to experimental tunes/sounds :)
How deep is my love for the Bee Gees? VERY DEEP. Every song on this '79 album is a time capsule in the "way-back" seat of my childhood... to disco glittery prime. They are amazing singers, songwriters, and humans, as showcased in the documentary "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart". A film that saves the best line for last... dropping a powerful truth about what matters most in our lives.
In 1983, as I entered High School "An Innocent Man" was released. It includes great tracks like "Uptown Girl", "Tell Her About It", "The Longest Time" and less great tracks like "Christie Lee"... proving that love is both blind and deaf. :)
This album "Meet The Beatles", released in 1964, is older than I am... and it has had a very good life with some serious play. So many familiar songs, released during the height of Beatlemania, it is hard to pick a favorite! Cover is missing, but the music is good.
These three prolific years of songwriting and music making (1967-1970) showcase so many of the songs on the soundtrack of my life. Many good memories pour through me, as each song on this album transports me back to unique place and time. The album is an amazing collection and a good reminder that "All You Need is Love".
The "Barry" album by Barry Manilow, released in 1980 is full of surprises from the song "Bermuda Triangle" a "Copacabana"-styled song.. if Copacabana was about swinging at a hotel in Bermuda :) This album includes the classic "We Made It Through the Rain" and a odd-bedfellow-duet with Lily Tomlin called "The Last Duet".
Barbra Streisand released "The Way We Were" in 1974 offering the typical ballads and sentimental songs. Those fingernails remind me of my youth.... time travel, to be sure. :) (The dramatic fingernails remind me of my mother during that decade!)
In '77, Barbra Streisand unleashed the "Superman" album – a mix of pop, rock, and ballads. Song highlights of the album were "My Heart Belongs to Me" and a cover of Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind". I'm curious why she's not wearing pants, and the story behind the very cheeky flip side of this album...
1964 was more than just flower power and Beatles mania—Barbra Streisand released "People". The famous song was (surprisingly) the final track at the end of the B-side... and the only song on the album that I actually knew the words to... :)
